Hi there!
I'm Alyssa. I'm a young-twenties girl who loves her family. They're more important to me than anything in the world, besides Jesus, of course. :) We're Christians, of no particular denomination...we just love Jesus and follow him the best we can. I volunteer at church in our children's nursery and sing in the worship band. I try to help out in other areas when I can, but when you're married, pregnant, and have an almost-two-year-old, life can get busy. When I'm not juggling schedules and kiddos, I love to read, craft, and watch movies or tv shows. I'm a huge movie junkie. :)
I'm married to Chad, my much older, super handsome hubby of 3 years now. He's a Satellite Engineer who works on a local military base and enjoys woodworking on the side. He's currently going to school as well, for his Bachelor's Degree, and finishing our basement at the same time. (He likes to keep busy, if you can't tell. Hehe.) My hubby is also a passionate activist for second amendment rights, a veteran of the Army, and loves Jeeps and camping.
Our adorable, blonde, firstborn is Jonah. He is 28 pounds of pure energy. Kid could run and jump and climb and dance and sing and play for DAYS on end. He wears us all out on a regular basis. He's almost two and smart as a whip. Seriously. He loves riding in his daddy's truck, backhoe loaders, Mater, balloons, reading, school buses, his Pops, macaroni and cheese, and chocolate milk. We all love him so dang much and couldn't imagine our lives without him.
There's also a little person growing in my belly! We found out in February that I was pregnant and couldn't be happier. We knew we wanted Jonah to have a sibling somewhat close to his age, so I think this is pretty good timing. I'm due in October and we'll most likely be finding out at the end of May/beginning of June whether we'll be having a boy or a girl. I'm totally easy either way but Chad is most opinionated about really wanting another boy. So we'll see what happens!
If you're dying to know (or just curious) anything else about us, feel free to just ask! I'd love to hear from you!
