So Much To Say: community

Hey all, I'm back!!

I used to blog over at In the Land of Lou, albeit not very frequently. :) But sometimes, just like you need to shed that pair of jeans you've been wearing for weeks on end without washing, you need to move on from what's comfortable and embrace something new. My blog was something I started not long after we first got married (a whole three years ago, haha) and something that, through sporadic posts and sharing photos of my cute, little family, carried us through one phase of our lives and into another.

I needed a new place...a new place to put down some of the thoughts rolling through my brain, a place to share those sweet, everyday moments that comes with having little ones, a way to let others get a glimpse into what we're up to. I believe one of the biggest ways we can be lights for Jesus, is to come alongside each other and be a community...live our lives together, help each other out, celebrate with one another, and lift each other up in prayer when it's needed. This blog, can be a place of community, if I let it, and if you'll join in with me. Talk with me, share with me...and I promise I'll do the same. Transparent honesty is NOT something that I'm good at, but I'm working on it.

For now, I'm gonna try my hand at prettying this place up. Is anyone around here any good at html coding/website design?? I don't know one lick about any of it. :)

And just to thank you all for coming back and checking the new and improved blog...here's a few photos of what we've been up to lately via Instagram. :) If you follow me there, you've already seen them...but they're all I've got edited for now. I'm so behind! Ah well, such is life. Enjoy!
